LaDonna's first book, The Girl I Never Knew, garnered her the nomination for Best New True Crime Author of the year for the 2023 True Crime Awards. Additionally, her podcast Deep Dark Secrets was also nominated for Best Indie Podcast of the year. Her first documentary film, Uneven Ground: The Melissa Witt Story was released on May 20, 2023 and is now available on Amazon Prime.
LaDonna is the Executive Director of Oasis of Northwest Arkansas, the co-founder of All the Lost Girls, co-founder of True Crime Fest, and the co-host of the Deep Dark Secrets Podcast and the Extinguished Podcast. LaDonna and her husband Danny have seven children and live in Northwest Arkansas.

When Alecia isn’t uncovering dark secrets, she can be found providing spiritual coaching to her clients or spending time with her two daughters, husband, and menagerie of beloved creatures on the island of St. Croix.
